We are biblically founded and wish to share the
rich tradition of the Christian heritage handed down through 2000 years of
history.
The mission of St. Thomas More Catholic Parish is to promote the Christian Faith
by continuing Christ's mission on earth through proclamation of the Gospel,
celebration of the sacraments and service to all people.
Our goals and objectives, following from our
mission statement are:
1) Worship: to give glory to God and receive of
His free gift of grace
2) Education for both children and adults, with a full religious education
curriculum, grades 1-12, as well as adult opportunities
3) Involvement through charity and volunteerism as well as participation in the
liturgies of the Church
4) Apostolates which range from retreats, to associations of prayer, and help
for the needy and distressed, to cooperation with the SDSU student communities
to ecumenically shared concerns
