Music Ministries

St. Thomas More Choir
    The St. Thomas More Choir sings traditional music and some contemporary music.  It is comprised mostly of 4-part harmony.  The group sings at mass for 3 or 4 Sundays a month, and practices Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

Sacred Way Choir
    The Sacred Way choir sings contemporary music for mass.  Piano along with guitars and small percussion instruments are used.  The group sings at mass for 3 or 4 Sundays a month, and practices Wednesday nights from 5:45 to 6:45pm.

Youth Choir
    The Youth Choir is comprised of children in grades 1 through 8 of the St. Thomas More parish.  They sing liturgical music for mass.  The group sings at mass once a month, and practices Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 to 3:30pm.

Cantor
    Cantors are used for proclaiming the responsorial psalm, gospel acclamation, and to announce and lead songs.  Training is provided in this ministry.
